Icon Hairdressing

ICON Hairdressing salon is owned entirely by I. Sofroniou & Sons Ltd., with the shareholders being Iacovos Sofroniou, Marios Sofroniou, Artemis Sofroniou, and George Sofroniou. It can be said that the salon is truly a family enterprise.

Our company was established in 1968 by our father, Iacovos, who opened his first salon in the heart of Nicosia, naming it Studio International.

In 1993, Marios and Artemis expanded the business by launching a second salon in Nicosia. Approximately a decade later, our younger brother George joined the team.

During that time, an opportunity arose when the adjacent shop became vacant. We decided to acquire it and expand the original premises. However, due to a decrease in available parking around the city center salon, we made the decision to close the original location and consolidate the two salons into the newly expanded and renovated salon in Acropolis. In 2006, we chose to rebrand our business to better align with our desired image, thus giving birth to 'ICON Hairdressing.'

We underwent a complete refurbishment that embodies our philosophy: exceptional hairdressing, excellent service, a pleasant environment, and honest professional guidance.
